- 17 August - Any page at the wiki may be added to your personal list of favorites. Learn how' Form-based UI for adding a racing course (track) is done.
- 12 August - .GBX file upload became problematic and will no longer be a feature however, .ZIP file upload is now working. Multiple <track-name.GBX> files will have to be bundled into a single .ZIP archive for upload.
- 6 August - Wikia staff have granted this wiki a green light for upload of .ZIP and .GBX files. ... Hoo-Yah! This allows the Virtual Skipper Wiki to become a true repository (with revision history) for Boats, Skins and (soon) Tracks rather than merely being a "catalog of URLs" to existing file mirrors. (A 10MB file size limit will continue to apply so some .ZIP files will require special handling.)
- 6 August - I revised the ETA for race results rapid upload by 1 month. I have just started reading about the RandR system (by Theeuwes de Jong) and so I plan to study that for a few weeks before firming up plans for this wiki's Race pages and associated semantic data. - 3 August - Form based add/edit of Boat Model and Skin pages. A Manage your Favorites facility and a popularity index is in place for all pages in the categories: Boats and Skins.
- 21 July - Lots of proof of concept testing! New features to anticipate (~ early August):
- add/remove boat models, skins, tracks, clubs, hosts to/from your ... 3/5 done
- ... list of favorites automatically maintained at your user page. done
- Popularity counters for boats, skins, tracks, etc. done
- Form auto completion for creating new boat, skin and track pages. 3/3 done
- Rapid upload of basic race result data for subsequent query (~late August September)
- 8 July - Read about exciting semantic capability coming to this wiki soon: Forms based interface for new page creation
- 30 June - All relevant fleet race rules are complete! (sans image) See left hand navigation bar or Rule mapping table for easy access.
- 24 June - Rule mapping table highlights those rules that have changed since the VSK5 auto-umpire was designed. It's also a Quick Reference
- 13 June - Manual of style first draft
- 10 June 2009 - This wiki is created!
